TIRES WITHOUT BANDAGE

TIRES WITHOUT BANDAGE

Bandless tires are categorized as solid tires. As well bandage tires, they have a high carrying capacity and are used at low speeds. Therefore, the purpose and scope of tires of bandless and bandage types are similar.

Application area

Hoisting-and-transport equipment used in warehouses, at airfields, in ports is equipped with bandless tires. The tires are designed for use on asphalt and dirt roads, concrete, wood, metal surfaces in all climatic zones at ambient temperatures from minus 45 to plus 55 ° C.

Bandless tire design

Bandless tires are a solid rubber ring reinforced (or not reinforced) with a metal cord in the area of the landing part.

Advantages of Bandless Tires Compared to Bandage Tires

Bandless tires are not attached chemically, but by pressing onto the wheel with an interference fit. Thus, a number of operations are excluded from the production cycle – the manufacture and transportation of metal fittings, its preparation for rubberizing, including shot blasting, degreasing, application and drying of adhesive film.

In addition, the tires of the bandless type do not damage or wear out the rim seating surface, which excludes the possibility of the rim going out of service due to the number of assembly and disassembly operations performed with it, which is limited by regulatory documents, and does not affect the reliability of the tire fit.
